The wedding memories we weren't planning to make

Weddings are meant to be a dreamy and seamless affair. Many brides dream of their special day, long before it comes to fruition. We're talking years and years of expectations, dreams and Pintrest boards! However, like any other day in the life a human being, the unpredictable is inevitable and unfortunately, weddings aren’t always the cakewalk we imagine them to be. As a matter of fact, I think it’s safe to question if it was even a wedding at all without at least one wedding day scare!

These dreaded bridal mishaps have the potential to be be nothing short of a nightmare in the moment. You know the feeling - in a period of 0.5 seconds you can feel every sweat gland tingling in places you didn't even know you could sweat LOL!  But in hindsight, oftentimes these chaotic moments become the the most memorable, hilarious and humbling memories. The birth of the "OMG! Remember when..." stories that set each wedding apart.

We’re all for real talk around here and we love ourselves a bride that doesn’t take herself too seriously! Here’s a few of our Loversland brides real- life  horror (or near horror) stories…enjoy..?

"We had a wedding crasher! Well, he ended up being an old friend of my mom and dad’s but nobody knew who he was when he showed up. He kept snapping pictures - it was really awkward."

"My pearl earrings wouldn’t go in and blood started running down my neck when I tried to put one in, just missing my gown."

“I actually peed on my dress train before the first look haha. It was also an outdoor wedding and it rained the entire day with no back up plan. But it was nothing short of amazing!”

“A near horror story I would say - but one we can laugh about now! We had a fire performer during our reception and during one particularly energetic twirl of his flaming stick, one fireball end flew off and shot directly towards Chris and I. Thankfully one of our guests quickly hopped into action, kicked it off the train of my dress, and stomped it out. Funnily enough, Pitbull’s Fireball was on our do-not-play list.”
