Below are some of are common questions about our bridal gowns and appointments
We are a shop for lovers and all things bridal. You don’t need to be a bride to shop at LoversLand. We offer a selection of gifts, ready-to-wear, lingerie and swimwear, décor, and apothecary. We have beautiful bridal dresses from local and international designers.
We recommend giving yourself 10-12 months to find your wedding gown. The first month will be allocated to scoping out the market. If you are looking for a made-to-order gown from one of our bridal designers, you will need to allow your gown to be made! This takes approximately 7-8 months.
Once you've found your dress, you’ll need to allow approximately 7-10 months for delivery. Please note that delivery times vary by brand. Rush deliveries are available at a fee. Contact us for more information.
Don't worry! We suggest that you book an appointment with us as soon possible, and depending on availability from our designer(s), we are able to accommodate rush orders. LoversLand has a great selection of ready-to-wear options that you can buy off the rack, or sample gowns in great condition! Our designers can usually accommodate a rush order (there may be a fee, depending on the designer and the date of your wedding).
Yes, we recommend booking an appoinment if you wish to try on bridal gowns or bridesmaid dresses. Bridal dresses are nestled in The Haven at the back of the shop, so it’s best to secure an appointment to guarantee availability. However, we happily welcome walk-ins to shop our selection of gifts, ready-to-wear, accessories and lingerie.
LoversLand does not offer alteration services in-house, however we can recommend local seamstress options. Please contact us for our list. Expect to budget $500-$1500 for the average cost of alterations.

Bridal dresses and gowns range from $1900 to $13,000 - the bulk being $4500 - $6500. We have great ready-to-wear options from $250 to $1200 and gifts starting at $50.
Key deliveries happen for the Fall/Winter season (August to October) and Spring/Summer season (February to April), however we source unique items year-round.
Yes, you can order items over the phone and we can also provide a virtual consultation over the phone, through email, or via Zoom. Contact Us so we can set up a time to do so.
Most of our dress samples range from size 6-14, but please note that your gown may be ordered up to a size 14-20, depending on the designer. If your sizing is outside the range mentioned above, we recommend emailing us beforehand so we can show you which gowns we have in 12+.
Made-to-order means that there is no stock of your gown and the making of the gown begins once you place your order. The most important thing to note is that made-to-order gowns are ordered to the closest numerical dress size (dependent on designer) and based on measurements. The gown is not made to exact measurements (which is referred to as "made-to-measure"). In order to achieve the perfect fit, the bride must seek the assistance of a seamstress or tailor.
Shipping & Returns
Below are some common questions about shipping, returns, and exchanges
Orders of $150 or more delivered within Canada ship for free. Orders under $150 are subject to shipping charges of $15 but this could increase for larger items.
Orders delivered within Canada are shipped via Canada Post. Orders are processed the next business day. Customers will receive an order fulfillment notice with tracking number as soon as the package is shipped.
Shipments outside of Canada
Orders delivered outside Canada are shipped via DHL. Orders are processed the next business day. Customers will receive an order fulfillment notice with tracking number as soon as the package is shipped.
Rates:
Shipments to USA - $35
Shipments to Ireland, UK and Europe - $50
Expected arrival date for international orders will vary by location. Most cities in the USA can expect items to arrive in 4-8 business days. For orders from Europe and UK, please allow 10—14 business days.
A customs duty may be charged to the purchaser by a local government. Loversland is not responsible for payment of this duty. By law, we cannot adjust the value of the order on commercial invoices. We must adhere to all international import/export laws. If shipment is refused, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package.
In-store order return/exchange:
It is important to us that you love your purchase! If something you purchased isn’t right for you, we will happily exchange it for a different item , or offer you store credit, within 14 days. Please note that we are only able to exchange new, unworn items if tags and all original packaging are included. To complete your exchange, we require your receipt. Loversland reserves the right to refuse any exchange if the item is not fit for resale.

Online order return/exchange:
We are happy to return, exchange or give store credit, on any full price items within 14 days of receiving your online order. All items that are returned must be unworn and have their original tags and packaging. Loversland holds the right to deny returns/exchanges if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements.
The buyer must contact Loversland before return or exchange and is responsible for any return shipping costs. Loversland is not responsible for return shipping costs, nor any duty. All sales are final after 14 days of receiving your online order.

Damaged Items:
Contact us if your item is defective and/or damaged. Please include the item name, proof of purchase/receipt, and the reason for the exchange in your e-mail. We will be in touch within 24 hours.If your item is defective, please do not send your purchase back to us or to the manufacturer without approval if there is a manufacturer’s defect, please contact us directly and we will happily facilitate a refund or exchange.
All sale items are final sale, both in store and online.
